At Accent Hearing, we are committed to help each client on a case by case basis to fully address your hearing needs. It is the only locally family owned independent hearing clinic with a Doctor of Audiology in the Clarence Valley and New England Regions.
Accent Hearing is well established in the Clarence Valley and the New England Regions for working with individuals with complex hearing concerns, so no matter what symptoms or challenges are in your way, we’ll diligently create a solution that meets your needs.
Our Accredited Audiologist Dr. Greg Butcher, has a wide educational background and insures attention to detail when creating a hearing treatment rehabilitation plan. This ensures you have the most successful experience and can once again enjoy listening to music, conversing with friends, and so much more.
Dr. Butcher also draws on the latest industry expertise and an innovative approach to treatment to thoroughly assess your hearing ability. Dr. Butcher encourages his clients and close family members to all take part in the hearing loss journey, by explaining how the loss has occurred and all treatment options available in an easy to understand way, so that you can be confident in knowing that you’re receiving the best care available.
AUDIOLOGICAL SERVICES
Pure tone audiometry (air and bone conduction where possible), speech discrimination, tympanometry & acoustic reflex assessment all conducted in a certified sound isolation booth. To be referred to an Ear Nose & Throat Specialist or other professional to exclude any underlying middle ear infections, retro-cochlear patholgy, severe tinnitus or vertigo.
Free/Subsidised services through the Hearing Services Program – Accent Hearing is accredited to provide free/subsidised services through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. Eligible pensioners and veterans (DVA) can receive services with no out of pocket expenses (conditions apply). See Government Program page for more information.

l have been wearing hearing aids for around twenty three years. Accent Hearing tested my hearing as l was due for replacement hearing aids through Workcover for my Industrial deafness.
